First off this place has to be one of the best Spanish restaurants i have been to the ambience is amazing. Very kid friendly as well as my 4 year old daughter enjoyed it. The service is amazing and the girls are very friendly. Brooke is one of my favorites. So polite and friendly. The chicharon de pollo is to die for. I had to grab a plate to go for my husband. The Mac and cheese was wow. 10/10 and highly recommended.

Let me start by saying I just learned that this venue is owned by legendary restaurateur, Jimmy Rodriguez, creator of Jimmy's Bronx Cafe, Sofrito, Don Coqui and many other ventures. Thought that was a cool #funfact. My wife and I have been looking for a nearby venue to host a family celebration and decided to pass by 'Con Sofrito' for an early dinner on Wednesday afternoon. Although the location is off the beaten path, it has the allure of a Puerto Rican speakeasy. We were greeted by the Assistant Manager, Brooke, who was professional, hospitable, and absolutely glowing with personality. From the start, we felt like we were right at home. Brooke recommended the Chuletas Fritas (Fried Pork Chops) and the Fried Catfish. Both were delicious and I also placed an order of sautéed Spinach which was a veggie side I would recommend. With the impeccable service and authentic #BoricuaEats, we decided to secure a reservation for our party with a full, diverse pre-fixe menu including appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Special thanks again to Brooke for booking the reservation and going over all of the options with us. We look forward to the party next month!

Wepa! This place was a vibe! The music, ambience, decor and food were all on point. It's a hybrid between restaurant, sports bar but there's also a lounge/club area. They have this really cute semi private booth that my fiancé & I got to dine in which gave a bit of an intimate experience despite not being in a separate room. Staff were attentive, super nice and down to earth which I really appreciated. They did not steer me wrong when it came to recommendations either. The drinks here are BOMB! Don't underestimate their potency either ;) I definitely want to come experience the night life here. Will be back

Right when you walk in, the aesthetics captures your eyes and invites you to stay and enjoy what the restaurant has to offer. There is a lot of opportunities to capture photos and they even have a Photo Booth and you can send the photos taken, directly to your phone. The music was also entertaining. There is also an area in the front of the restaurant that appears to be lounge where people can celebrate and party which also have the perfect walls to take photos. Cognac Colada - good amount of cognac and not too sweet Mocktail Wepa - delicious, can't imagine how it would taste with the tequila added. Calamari - did NOT have a good taste, it was plain tasting and we only ate half. Grilled Skirt Steak and Shrimp Mofongo - soooooo delicious, I'm so happy I added the steak because it made the dish better. The sauce of the shrimp was so delicious, I ate it all and is a dish worth ordering. Tres Leches Chicken and Waffle - the chicken tasted delicious, it was an interesting twist on chicken and waffles (a little of the sweet side).
